About this tool
Generates passwords from the Web Crypto API using rejection sampling, so every character in the chosen alphabet is equally likely — no modulo bias quietly narrowing the keyspace. Length runs from 4 to 128 characters, and each character class can be enabled independently.
An entropy readout in bits updates as you change the settings, which is a more honest measure of strength than a coloured bar. You can also exclude visually ambiguous characters such as l, I, 1, O and 0 when the password will be read aloud or typed by hand.
How to use it

Privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type or paste is sent to a server, and your local history is stored only on this device.
